Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks is a Moab-based nonprofit and an official philanthropic partner of the National Park Service. For more than 15 years, we’ve worked alongside rangers and local communities to keep these parks extraordinary.
These parks don’t belong to any one place or generation — they belong to all of us, and to everyone who comes after. So when young rangers can’t afford to live in the communities they serve, when search and rescue teams need equipment to bring hikers home safely, when fragile desert ecosystems need a fighting chance, we show up to fund the work. Donate today and show up with us.

YOUR GIFT AT WORK
Three things your donation makes possible
Every dollar supports these parks, funding real programs and projects that keep them healthy, staffed, and welcoming — for this generation and the next.
Youth & Next Generation Stewards
Your donation puts young people inside these parks and equips the volunteers who keep them healthy and welcoming – for this generation and the next.
Ranger Housing
Your donation puts a roof over the ranger who pointed you toward the best hike, who checked on you in 105° heat – so the people who know these parks best can afford to stay, and the parks stay safe.
Wildlife, Trails & Natural Health
Your gift puts real resources behind ecosystems that look rugged but are remarkably fragile by funding the restoration and conservation work that keeps the desert floor, the bighorn sheep, and the night skies as wild as they’ve always been.
“These parks don’t take care of themselves. Every trail you walk, every viewpoint you love — someone made sure it was there for you. That’s the work.”

AMERICA 250 CAMPAIGN
Make your America 250 gift today.
In this milestone year, we’re asking you to make a statement: these parks are ours to protect. We love them, we enjoy them, and we refuse to let them become ordinary.
Your gift joins you with people who believe these remarkable places deserve to last forever — so your grandchildren’s grandchildren can stand beneath the same ancient arches and feel what you feel today. That future starts with a gift right now.
