WAYS TO GIVE
Volunteer Support
Our Volunteer Support empowers community members to make a meaningful impact by preserving and enhancing our parks through hands-on engagement and stewardship.
The Volunteers-in-Parks Program
If you’ve ever thought, are there any outdoor volunteer opportunities near me? Are there any places near me to volunteer? Or even, can I support the parks with hands-on volunteer activities when I visit them? The answer is yes, thanks to the National Park Service’s Volunteers-in-Parks program.
Volunteers help the National Park Service with important tasks within the parks. Some roles need minimal training, while others require specialized skills. Please be aware that becoming a national park volunteer with housing is possible but difficult, as housing is limited.
Visit the National Park Service website for more information on volunteer opportunities and to view the Volunteer Events and Service Saturdays calendar for upcoming events.
